Italy offers a variety of landscapes and therefore many options for chartering a yacht or a catamaran. As the regions differ a lot from each other, we split the areas into 4 subareas.
Tuskany is probably the least known area from a sailor’s perspective. Nevertheless, there is a lot to explore in this region (e.g. Pisa, San Gimignano etc.). Circumnavigate the island of Elba and stay in many beautiful bays. From here, you can also sail to Corsica and Sicily.
For family- or light-wind sailors we would recommend the Gulf of Naples. Visit the cities Naples, Pompeii and the island of Capri!
Sardinia, also known as the Caribbean of the Mediterranean, offers white sand beaches and crystal clear water. But be careful: during Italian holiday, the island will be very crowded. So, be aware of this, when choosing your holiday dates.
Another destination for your next sailing trip is Sicily! The volcanic islands Vulcano and Stromboli are not far away. Visit them and enjoy the picturesque view. You can travel to Sicily by plane either to Palermo or Catania.

Ein weiteres Ziel für Ihren Traum-Yachtcharter in Italien ist Sizilien. Die Vulkaninseln Vulcano und Stromboli sind nur einen „Katzensprung“ von der Küste entfernt. Sie bieten speziell nachts einen unvergesslichen Anblick. Die Anreise über Palermo oder auch Catania ist von den meisten europäischen Flughäfen sehr günstig und auch die Transferdauer ist moderat.

Especially diving fans will love this area. Crystal clear water and beautiful reefs are definitely worth a stop. In case you want to stay on-land, visit the capital La Valetta as it is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a bit of culture.
