Corsica, Brittany & Côte d'Azur
Yacht Charter Corsica, Brittany, Côte d’Azur
Enjoy a sailing trip in France
The experienced sailor will find a very challenging sailing area alongside the coast of Brittany. The tidal wave and the strong currents demand a higly compentent sailsmanship and experience. Many bays provide shelter, and in Summer there hardly ever are strong winds. The south of Brittany offers more relaxed sailing with wind forces around 4 Bft.. However, you should have experience in dealing with tides. Explore the 150 km long coast line of the Côte d‘Azur that stretches between Nice and Marseille. You will enjoy the mild weater and beautiful scenery of the french Riviera.
If you start your trip from Bormes-les-Mimosas, both Saint-Tropez or Saint-Raphaël are within 30 miles and worth a visit. If you have 2 weeks time, we recommend a trip to Corsica. Please note that the local weather forecasts are very important (Mistral!). The stunning rocky west coast of Corsica has amazing bays to anchor. The east side is flat, with many sandy beaches. You should also visit the impressing harbour Bonifacio.
A: 1 week ( approx. 144 nm)
