Yacht Charter New Zealand
Haere mai - welcome to New Zealand!
New Zealand consists of 2 islands. The smaller island in the north is quite hilly with fertile soil and offers many volcanos, hot springs and geysers. Especially the area around Rotorua, which is approx.. 240 km. southward from Auckland, has turned into a famous attraction. The Bay of Islands in particular is known for its various moorings, fabulous beaches and amazing underwater world. The coastline stretches over 900 km, and is very protected thanks to the many small islands in front. Winds mostly gain force in the afternoon and thus provide perfect sailing conditions (in the evening the wind often gets weaker again). The wreck of the „Rainbow Warrier“ near Cavalli Island, or the famous „Hole in the rock“ and the „Cathedral Cave“ at Piercy Island are very interesting destinations. You might also know the lighthouse on Cape Brett. One-Way-trips from the Bay of Island to Hauraki Gulf are possible.
