The republic of Malta is located about 50 miles south of Sicily, with its sister-islands Comino and Gozo. As the waters around Malte are praised as the purest in the whole of the Mediterrenean Sea, it is highly popular amongst divers and snorkelers.
The coast line of Malta has something to offer for everyone: The South coast has steep cliffs, that are interrupted by quiet bays. The North-East part of Malta is attractive for those looking for some peace and quietness. You will find many amazing bays here, like the Mellieha Bay, and numerous gently sloping beaches.
